Joy in my new life

Lord you have given me a joy in my new life I no longer feel the world’s strife I looked for you, and found your blessing You saw me from afar, and now I’m confessing The shadow of sin has been lifted Father your grace and mercy, have filled me Every day I feel your glorious sunshine As I walk your path, I know that I will find My blessed hope, and My eventual eternity Lord you have given me a joy in my new life I no longer feel the world’s strife I looked for you, and found your blessing You saw me from afar, and now I’m confessing There is such a plan, that guides my every move The scriptures revealed my sin And my sorrow was turned into worship My valleys were turned into mountains, I have climbed to the top, no longer stained My brokenness has been made whole For you have cleansed my soul Lord you have given me a joy in my new life I no longer feel the world’s strife I looked for you, and found your blessing You saw me from afar, and now I’m confessing Your son was the atoning sacrifice, on the cross Jesus you are the only way to reach the lost Jesus you are the only way to reach the lost My redemption is assured, in you I will rest Your compassion for me will persist Father your goodness and love, will follow me For it all started with the saviour’s death, on that tree Lord you have given me a joy in my new life I no longer feel the world’s strife I looked for you, and found your blessing You saw me from afar, and now I’m confessing Grateful I am, and grateful I will remain I run to you for your protection, salvation I have attained Lord God I know my salvation, it was undeserved But with the holy spirit help, I will serve What an amazing grace, for me a new beginning Yes lord, my hope is that there is no longer sinning Lord you have given me a joy in my new life I no longer feel the world’s strife I looked for you, and found your blessing You saw me from afar, and now I’m confessing Thank you father for redeeming me Thank you Jesus for providing your release Thank you Holy Spirit for living within me
